I found this today - it is a Francisco Rodon hand signed poster of Alicia Alonso. I googled it trying to see what it's worth & came across a photo of the same poster.
It was on Worthpoint so I can't see what it sold for (you have to have a membership) BUT the description said there were only 10 (ten!) of these signed by Rodon & the buyers at the time had to pay $200 to get a signed poster.
Is this story true? What - if anything - is so special about this poster?
Thank you in advance for any help!

He seems to have signed this one for someone named Ethel. I can't make out the Spanish after, other than the 'amente' at the end. Maybe 'afectuosamente', affectionately.

If there were only 10, that makes it special. He's an esteemed painter. It was not clear to me that Alonso was one of the paintings in this exhibition. If so, limited prints of the paintings may have been made in connection with it:

Francisco Rodón painted portraits of many iconic figures of the era, both Puerto Ricans and other nationalities. Some of these were collected in a series of paintings later exhibited under the title Personajes. Among the portraits were Luis Muñoz Marín (1974) — which presented the former governor in his residence in Trujillo Alto, late in life, with a contemplative and tired expression; Rómulo Betancourt (1977-1979) — in which he presented the Venezuelan politician with his face disfigured by an explosives attack — and Juan Rulfo o Pedro Páramo — a portrait in black, white and tones of gray that was unveiled at the Bar Association in 1985, after the writer’s death. He also painted the portraits of ballet dancers Alicia Alonso and Vaslav Nijinsky, Puerto Rican educator and literati Nilita Vientós Alonso and Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa, among others.

Alicia Alonso, for those who do not know the name offhand, was a famous Cuban prima ballerina who continued to dance even when she was ancient & virtually blind.

Just a crazy idea... Wonder if "Ethel" was Ethel Merman. According to the internet, she performed with Alicia Alonso once upon a time.

Interesting thought. Merman died in Feb. 1984, same year as copyright. According to write up, the one found on Worthpoint was purchased & signed in 1990. Painting itself was done 1982/83:

A detail made it onto a commemorative stamp:
