    I see they've said Perth with a distorted cane. I'd rather agree on that, it looks typical.

    OK--I feel really dumb for not checking my Perthshire book after seeing the new ,full photos --as those surely show Perthshire pattern and cane traits !!! It is on page 93 of The Compete Guide to Perthshire Paperweights Mahoney and McClanahan 1997 Ed.

    When I saw the response on the GMB I felt the same Janettekay, should have looked in the books:)
    It is a Perthshire PP32 weight with an 'L' cane for 1980 (photo from the book quoted by Janettekay)

    :happy: Yeah..all I did was a quick internet search :facepalm: and then got caught up in some family drama...and never took out the book!!! My bad. :oops:

    I see Perth weights in the region of twenty to forty pounds at retail.

    Thank you cxgirl for the suggestion. Right now I am just new for paperweights and i like to accumulate my collection. Meanwhile, I have be aware of the market value. I might want to sell several other weights.
