art glass sundae sherbet glass, uranium

Hi, folks ,
I recently bought these sundae or sherbet glasses at auction and need some help identifying them.
The bowl and foot are formed with cloudy glass and the stem is uranium glass. These are hand blown with a polished out pontil and lovely quality. The foot has striations showing it has been spun then applied. The stem shows no sign of any mold marks,
No signature so i am kind of guessing.

 

Sorry, don't know anything about them, but those are nifty sherbets!

 

I could not resist them, they are a lovely big bowl and just real nice. Probably paid far too much!

 

Wow! So pretty.
I can find plenty of short stem seafood cocktails with an attached underplate, but so far have not found any tall stems with attached under plate.

 

they are a bit of a mystery and yes they are very pretty. The uranium stem really lights up under uv light- even strong sunlight has it glowing away.

Looks like alabaster, either Frederick Carder (Steuben) or Stevens & Williams.

 

Thank you! I think as i bought them in the UK they are more likely to be S&W.

 

They sure look like Steuben, but don't know if Steuben made that shape.

 

the glasses are not finished with fire polished safety rim. The rims are just gently rolled at the edge.

 

My first thought was Steuben also, but since you are in UK, Stevens & Williams is a good possibility.

Cloudy glass = opaque, or clambroth, with Jade color stem

Low champagne is another descriptive.
