I picked this bottle up the other day, it did not have a stopper. It is 19.5" tall and about 6" across the bottom. I haven't been able to find anything similar, do you think this is a modern piece?

The size says decanter to me, missing it's stopper. At a guess mainland Italy, mid century.

If you scroll down you will see a similarly shaped decanter in translucent glass. The Empoli area did also produce cased glass. The ribbed shape doesn't seem Scandinavian to me, though they also did cased glass around this time frame.

What is that on the left hand side about half way up? Looks like part of a label.
