Hello all. My name is Debbie and I am one of the blind squirrels. I have learned alot from everyone's comments. From the history of an item to the logic used in trying to pin point an item.

I find myself in need of expert assistance on an item that has me stumped. I feel it is old but I dont know why. I looks like Moss Green Agate. The piece weights 14.5 oz and measures 3 x 2 1/4". It is translucent in parts and even had some glitter. 20190401_142014 (640x305).jpg 20190401_142001 (640x305).jpg 20190401_142027 (640x305).jpg

Welcome, Debbie & Squirrel #2. I've punched up your photo a bit so we have a better idea of color & texture:

You did just fine, especially for a first time post. With so many people now using their phone to take photos, most first timers have trouble just getting any photos posted at all, & then they may be too few, too poor for us to make much of. We crop, rotate, brighten for each other all the time. Your photos were good enough to start with that only minor tweaking needed. :)

Thanks evelyb30. I do think you folks are right on the money. I may have heard of serpentine but could not ID it (but now I can).

Thanks. I am sure I will be still doing more "lurking" than posting however the learning will continue for this "blind squirrel".
