Post-Modern bronze bear. Whimsical

I have this bronze bear. The bear and the platform are separate but appear to be made from same bronze. The metal was painted grey, and the statue has a black felt bottom. I can't find any markings, probably due to the paint. I have no knowledge about this bear.

 

What are the measurements, please?

 

It measures 10" long, 8" High, 4" wide.

 

( where's the bracelet ..?? )

Do you think it's a panda? I always think of pandas as being the rolling ones...

It does seem most like a panda to me, too. Of course, unless somebody were to ID the artist and find out more about the piece we won't know.

Sorry. I told my friend that if put the bracelet around his legs it looks like he is sliding off his pants. Then sent him a picture.
