Featured Any information about this clock?

I put this in the Furniture forum since i don't know which forum would be appropriate for it. This was my mother's and the sole writing on it is at the bottom of the dial : "swiss deposé". If anybody knows anything about it, I'd love to know.

 

Welcome, Paul. The word deposé just means that the design is registered.

 

I'm sure the clock/watch folks are going to want to see the back too. (Please post photos full size, not as thumbnails.) Is the blue rim enamel?

Nice clock! Clocks are not my area of expertise but styling suggest 1920s. Imagine that it is not particularly important horologically but as décor, it is a killer.

 

They really only describe what they see, just as Paul has. And to cover their backsides:
'The printed conditions and descriptions in the catalog entry are OPINION ONLY without legal obligation.'

Definitely same clock, different color & scene on face. That one comes with a case, so clock may be meant for travel. It had a single bidder who bought it for $60, well under estimate.

@afantiques will probably know more than me but here's my pennies worth.
I think it is a good quality mass production "no name" clock probably made around 1900-1920. Not sure when the "screw type" winder supplanted the key winder but suspect it was around that era.
