Well Charmin has just introduced the "Forever Toilet Tissue Roll". It is super big. They claim it will last a month. That is not forever in my book. LOL

Now back to our regular scheduled program. Cute item there.

Kardinalisimo, I'm halfway (but only halfway) kidding about the following:

Original watercolor signed Carol Bradbery outhouse/john toilet paper rolls down hill

    That's pretty good. Here's a variation:
Original watercolor comic cartoon painting Carol Bradbery outhouse toilet paper

That painting is a lot better than many we see here.

There was a book (not much more than a pamphlet really) published in the 1920s by Charles (Chic) Sale and titled "The Specialist" about a feller made a livin outta buildin outhouses?

He wrote about including a hook to hold the latest mail order catalog, and a box for the old-timers who preferred the old fashioned use of corn cobs.

I'm just guessing but . . . have any others here ever heard the words "the 'honey wagon' is coming here today"?;)

Years ago I was working at an ad agency in CT. My boss told me a story about when he was in Maine with a group of would-be artists painting scenery. He was just finishing a painting of a shack when a local came along and looked at it. He asked “What are you gonna call that?” My boss said “Fishing shack.” The local said “That’s betta.” My boss said “Better than what?” The local said “Betta than out house!” :woot:

I'm finding several links for her but they seem to be dead. Richmond's art community isn't that large.
