I found this the other day and after hours of fruitless searching I give ! I thought since its a tea glass holder it might be Middle Eastern, but no luck so far. Its about 3 inches high (not including the handle) .Id like to find out what it is before I spend time trying to polish it! Any and all help is always appreciated.

Thanks for the replies. If its silver plate I sure am not going to spend time polishing it !

The material could be melchior, which is one of those alloys roughly like alpacca.
Which reminds me, I have some high stemmed crystal cups I want to know more about.:playful:
    :sorry:
I do have some questions about them though, must take pics.:)

Very pretty... but I can imagine that polishing would be a chore!

    Hi Fig,
Why does everyone think polishing silver is a chore? Send me all your silver, I love polishing it. Return it to you all bright and shiny.
