Another thingie from the '70s. (Can you tell I'm delving deep into things long in storage?)

It's ceramic, so I suppose it's studio pottery. Maybe Alberta or Saskatchewan is what lingers in my mind for a source. The maker's mark is a clearly impressed monogram. I see it as PRK. Anybody recognize it?

    Free-form, 7 1/2" long, 3" across, no discernible function:

I think I've found the name: Ed Drahanchuk.

He was in Alberta but moved to British Columbia in 1975. I believe this pre-dates '75.

    No explanation for the monogram.

Neat piece MOS:) He has/had a studio on Quadra Island, not sure if it is there anymore.

Apparently it was there as of 2017. Seems he left off ceramics for a couple of decades in favor of painting, but as of that date was considering getting back into it. He's in his 80s.

I love Quadra! Haven't been there since 2011 though. We stayed up 'til 1:00 AM watching a meteor shower, then got up at 5:00 AM to enjoy the sunrise. The light over Rebecca spit is lovely in the morning...
    (sorry, OT)
