Maybe Scottie (black) and Westie (white)? Terriers, in any case...

Scotties were very popular in the US in the 1940's to early 1950's, because President Franklin D. Roosevelt had one. Even my own Grandma had one when I was little.

Me, too - THESE days... I was always a cat AND DOG person, before medical circumstances made it impossible for me to walk & otherwise care for a dog. Sigh.
I love them both - period.

sort of a takeoff on the 1930's National Sewing Machine Company aka Vindex Toy Co. twin Scotties made for Texaco as the mascot logo “Listen” by wildlife artist Morgan Dennis. The" TWIN SCOTTIES " doorstop Made in the 1930's, portrays the 2 Scotties posed like they are listening to something.

    Hi,
One of my favorite toys was two Scotties one black and one white which were on magnets. They were small but I remember chasing them depending on which end of the magnet was used. Thanks for the memory.
