komokwa The Truth is out there...!

asking price can be the moon.....selling price is what matters.....
    but....
who's looking...what time of year....there are many factors that will even influence a sale price....

Not that it matters anyway, not looking to part with it, even if i would get 500$, won't make a difference in my bank account and when my wife wore it last year at the X-mas party it was a piece of conversation;)

Well, here it is, did what i could with soapy water and a soft toothbrush...still seems like more to do but i went all out with the soaking and the brushing in every direction possible, still waiting for the silver cloth to give it the last Bling shine through!!

Strictly my personal taste, but this is how I like old silver jewellery to look. Not so tarnished as to look dirty, with details obscured. Not blindingly, straight from the jeweller's bench bright. High points shined up & lower points left dark, so design comes up.

Agreed there is still some slight tarnish on the parts that are below protruding ones and yes it's make the '' Relief'' and depth show through better like this.
Now that it's clean there is much more detail showing through, so much in such a small Piece , Me like it a Lot ;)
That Belly Button could be as dark as the dark hole they just found in space no matter how much cleaning I put into it LOL!!

    Wonderful, Nick, a real treasure!
I agree, details should show and deeper parts are allowed to be darker. A little rub with the cloth should bring out the highlights even more.
