I have inherited this incredible chair from my grandma, she said it was purchased from the foreign consulate when she was young, not much of a lead. In my opinion its late 19 early 20th century chair with five lionheads. Can anyone help me trace any leads on where it was made or anyone saw similar make? Thank you in advance.

    Welcome batjil.
The chair looks 19th century Continental European, made in an earlier, Medieval/Renaissance style, which copied a Roman style.;)
Do you know which foreign consulate it was?

What AJ said …… Often called a Roman Chair. Circa 1890 and appears to be oak. Think England is also a possibility
