J. Steiner Landscape

Here is a landscape painting signed J. Steiner. I am looking for some opinions regarding the artist. I have researched it, but I am not sure who it is... I always appreciate comments and information. Purchased in SW Arizona. Thank you!

 

It's okay but does tend to look like one of those dime a dozen "above the couch" pictures .. in my eyes anyway. .... Joy.

 

I have the same impression that it's a painting sold for it's decorative value. If that's the case, it's usually hard to learn anything about the artist.

not sure though, but style fits.

 

The signatures are very different. The styles look significantly different to me, too.

But unless the seller knows something they're not telling, that price is cuckoo.

 

The seller knows Nothing about the work & likely picked it up at a thrift !
