Barney. Not such a noble name but he came with it from the rescue. Very elegant and moves beautifully like a show pony. Fastest thing on 4 legs, he’s like lightning.Also very high maintenance as I am his world and he suffers from separation anxiety. He’s amazing with the kids though and much adored.

Bou, it's lovely to see you "back", and pictures of the divine Miss Luna are always welcome! She has such an elegant presence, and those soulful eyes just pull you in.

I so wish I could have a dog or two, but, alas, it's not possible, so I must be satisfied with my 4 kitties - and I AM, at least until I start missing my doggies!

 

KSW, your Barney is delightful! He looks so dignified there. What a love!

 

He looks like such a posh dog but is really a total twit!

 

The two are not mutually exclusive. At least he knows how to look gorgeous in a photo.

 

Dogs just want you to be happy. Cats do too but there's usually a menu choice attached

 

Cats want you to be comfortable so they can be too. Not so sure about happy.

 

My baby has seperation issues,too,and she's only known us ever ( my cocker span is the same) so it must be something I am doing but they pine if I put the washing out
I am with them constantly though so they don't get to pine an awful lot...Barney is utterly divine,and I can tell he is the fastest boi!
Jude Jones ( cocker span) choose to love my hub best,and Luna Lurcher decided she likes ME best , isn't it great the way they work it out?
And well done <3 for the rescue I have five cats,and they are rescues ... my previous love,Emma Lurcher was a rescue from the RSPCA. x x x

Four cats is a good substitute ... I have five but they tend to keep themselves to themselves except for Feefs ( I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HER NAME) as she is my cat,she attached herself to me and I was happy to oblige!
This is my girl, Fifi...she is a rescue and I couldn't change her name, felt wrong to do so though I am sure it's probably OK ... sorry about the mess :O she's sat on my clean washing,natch

I have this *thing* about little feets...Feefs has teeny little golden feets,and Luna has bigger golden feets. Jude has hairy black feets...so so so cute x x

I know I say this a lot on the forum, but I really miss my cats. Love seeing other people's cats though. Cats are special.

 

Cats are utterly wonderful creatures, so funny and fascinating. We have one with CH and he's SO full of character
