japanese(?) porcelain cup with Geisha lithophane

    The face is sort of indented into all the pieces but again, it’s just sort of an indent until you hold it directly up to light.

    That’s awesome, thanks! I’m new to all this so trying to learn all the terms and whatnot that really helps!
    Is Japanese lithophane common? Anyone seen this mark before?

    I don't see it very often.

    Try doing a search on ebay to see what is being offered.

    I think @i need help collects lithophanes if I remember correctly.

    She might be able to offer you more info.

    The mark says Kutani, kind of generic.

    I think they should stay together. Look at ebay sold listings for lithophane tea sets. The prices are pretty low, but I imagine it's because it costs so much to mail them (and what a headache). Any chance you can sell locally?
