Any ideas please?

    I bought a tea set from a charity shop because I think it is really pretty.
    I only have a picture of the cup at the moment, as the rest of the set is at my Mum's.

    It consist's of 6 cups and saucers, 6 side plates, teapot, milk jug and a slops bowl.
    It has no markings anywhere.
    I was thinking it might be really old if it has a slops bowl?

    Any ideas please?

    Are none of the pieces marked?

    If any are please show us.

    Also, if you still have the edit button under your post, please "edit" and choose Full Image on your pictures.

    The slops bowl is probably a sugar bowl - they were bigger back then. This looks mid 19th C from the handle shape, but the rest of the set will give more clues. Porcelain and rather pretty.

    Hi, none of the pieces are marked. It is a very big bowl. I will take more pics of the whole set when I collect it. Thanks for your help.
