Featured Green Satin? Glass Vase

    Flashing a process that involves chemicals in the glass changing color when the glass is either reheated of shocked with cold air. Amberina is an example of this. Fired on color is painted on the cold glass, usually powdered colored glass. It is refired and the powder fuses to the base glass.
    Staining, as in Ruby Stain is a chemical process, the color is developed in a furnace, having been applied as a liquid to the cold glass.

    I'm not at all lsure what process is involved in the above glass. The clear could be stained or fired on, the opaque colors are probably fired on.

    I think Anchor Hocking bought out Napco.Some of there glass looks similar,and rare.Nice Spittoon!
