Small tray with enamel - not sure what it is

    Hello,
    This feels like brass, has no markings and the metal work feels as if it has a varnish on it bar where it's blue enamelled. It's about 15cm long. Any help in identifying what it might be, would be fantastic. Thanks

    Another name I've seen is a "desk tidy" - a spot to throw little bits like paperclips and loose change. This one's fairly new, but it would work fine. A third term is "whatsahoosie".(LOL) Whatchamacallit, thingie, whosit. Personally I call this sort of thing a hangs-around-looks-cute, but that's not a usable search term.

    That looks suspiciously like items Ive seen in Cracker Barrel (dont judge me,my mother loves it there!) .
