1974 Woods MCM style oil on canvas

I had this item in my booth at an antique. I removed it to take to a couple of antique shows. Would anyone happen to know if this is a known artist? I found several artist with the last name of Woods but couldn't determine who may have done this. The frame measures 48 1/2" x 32 1/2". Thank you.

 

I think 1974 is well past MCM by more than a few years. I think maybe you have a painting by an amateur painter, JMHO

 

Marie, thank you. I realize that 1974 is past MCM era but I think the painting has an MCM flair to it. He/she may have been an amateur but I do like the style
