Featured Quirky jewellery box

Let’s hope he didn’t hack up her favourite late 1800s jewellery box otherwise I suspect he would shortly be an ex- husband!

 

He found the box in the skip (the things people throw away ), where it had been exposed to wind and rain.
It was a surprise he had been working on for weeks. In the shed, of course. She loved it and continued to use it until it was time for their happy afterlife together in radio heaven.

Although I have just spent far too long musing over if they had skips back then and the history of rubbish collection!.
