Help ID Carnival Glass Compote Bowl

    Any help with the maker, pattern and age? Also, what would you call the color?

    Thanks. So, pattern introduced 1922, right.
    I checked past auctions on Ebay. I did not find mine color but the others did not sell that good.

    Lovely compote, Kard!

    Carnival prices have gone down a lot. If your piece has rich, fiery iridescence, it should help your listing if you can capture it in photos. It's also good to show a photo where the light is shining through in a way that shows the base color, which is the color used to identify a piece.

    I don't know what you're expecting but this compote, in fine condition, no CHIPS, no CRACKS, no PROBLEMS, should still do 200-300 even in today's market. Color makes a big difference too, though a hundred bucks for marigold seems like a decent price to me. That's what the CLEAN examples on eBay were pulling. The others had problems. Amethyst is much better, then blue and green, with exceptionally nice examples exceeding four figures.

    Your piece has very nice, but average iridescence.

    Thanks for the info. That is why I avoid buying carnival glass, don't know which one sells good and which one does not.
    Is there a general rule for the most desired colors? I guess it will also depend on the maker, pattern, rarity and other factors.
