    It has holes to mount it onto something else. Some kind of wall rack?

    Given the tapering “teeth” I would guess it was floor mounted. Boot scraper? But seems too nicely made for that?

    Edit: Or hold fireplace tools?

    BOTH things I was thinking about too!!! Just can't quite make them fit!!:happy: Seem strange for something like "ironing board adjusters", but not for me to say!!!! Who knew???? I'd love to see HOW????

    I would guess attached to the bottom of the board and then the diagonal arm could be moved to different slot for different height.
