    I am an artist not an antique expert. Several years ago my aunt bought some vintage jewelry at a yard sale and gave it to me. I started researching and found it very interesting. The different designs and designers and amazing artistry... I sold all of those pieces on ebay.

    Most recently my mother-in-law gave me a enormous amount of jewelry, everything she has is at least 20 years old. It has been buried in her closet for all of that time. Some other pieces belonged to her mother. Signed brooches, earrings etc. I have had my nose buried in all of this for a weeks, trying to make sure I do not give away any treasures that are worth more than I am capable of understanding.

    And this is how I came across this forum :)
