Featured Green Glass Rose Bowl

    Have a green glass rose bowl with a floral cutting. The base has a design that looks like the petals of a flower. Measures 5" tall and is 5 1/2" wide.

    After a closer inspection I found a faint Hawkes signature. Hard to see with the naked eye and not much better in my photo.

    I suspect the mark is spurious.

    This looks Bohemian/Czech circa pre WW II.

    I'll never be convinced this is Hawkes.

    Correct me if i am wrong, because my knowledge of cut glass is minimal. But I believe that Hawkes bought other companies blanks and then did the cutting or etchings on them.
