Help with candlesticks / hallmarks

    Not "hallmarks" but maker's marks, since these were probably, at one time, silver plated. The marks are those of E. G. Webster and Sons. https://www.925-1000.com/silverplate_W2.html

    Only marks added under the auspices of an official system for precious metals control can be called "hallmarks."

    I'm sure she has her 'hallmark' thread spies, who lie waiting in the bushes of Antiquers and send off homing pigeons whenever a marks question appears.:playful:
