Gimbel lamp help with date

    Went up to one of the attics to get a violin down and this lamp was next to it so I brought it down to see if I could sell it but have no idea what the value would be. It's very pretty and looks hand painted. Found one that said 1900's but that doesn't really help me at all. The wiring isn't worth much, looks like a double strand but thought I would show it to you.     Nice figural lamp.

    They were quite popular amongst doll collectors a few years back.......but when the doll market declined, I think so did the figural "doll" lamp. Those made in Germany were quite popular. As any made in France would be also if they were made there. The German ones were most often found.

    I have one of a little girl sitting on a sofa bed hugging her puppy. I still love it.
