Featured Plaited bracelet

It doesn't look all that square to me... I think there's a good chance it's the same rope chain, just coated or treated.

I've had other pieces (costume, as I recall) that have similar elements... I'll see if I can locate. Can you scrape or dent it with your fingernail, @KSW ?

 

Here’s another photo. There is a scrape on the black mid photo where the black wire touched the silver surround. It doesn’t look like twisted wire inside and definitely isn’t covered with rubber or leather. It’s a plating of some sort. It doesn’t come off easily but it does if you scratch it.

 

I suspect my bracelet wouldn’t look as good as that after an evening class!
That Indiamart wire could be exactly what it is.

It is copper wire

 

I'm ok with copper, I just wanted to find something close that looked similar to elephant hair and was flexible.

Maybe it's available in white metal.

I bet *** @kyratango *** could make her own out of Sterling wire

 

I’d rather use baked vermicelli framed with spaghetti, sprayed silver paint once dried hard...
