Native American Navajo help

I need help with this piece of art.
only thing I know is lady said it was made by Native American Navajo.

Tricia, think your piece would be considered a doll, rather than art. Many similars can be found on internet by searching for "Navajo weaving doll." Here's one of the many listed on etsy.com. They're typically described as being vintage 1960s.

Yes, it's Navajo, a popular type of souvenir made by a number of Navajo artists.

If finished, and sold as miniatures, the little Navajo rugs they are weaving would probably sell for considerably more than the whole piece. A lot of time and care usually goes into making these. The rugs are woven on a real miniature Navajo loom, the dolls are dressed traditionally, even the baby carrier is a real little Navajo cradleboard.

It's a very nice example, but a search of Sold Listings on eBay will give you an idea of what they sell for on the secondary market.
