Hi everyone I’m looking for some help identifying, make/style and type etc of a glass vase. There are no visible makers marks etc, so I’m guessing it’s noth spectacular, but I rather like it and would like to know a bit more about it.

As you can see from the attached photos the actuall inside is rather narrow, is this a specific type of vase, maybe a bud vase? It is approximately 34 cm tall

    Many thanks

    Simon

Just a vase that probably speaks Mandarin. Designed to use with or without flowers.

I think it might speak Japanese.

This looks like a Sommerso Italian vase from the 1970's. Prices vary on them but I am guessing about $40 or so

It isn't sommerso, those are internal trails.

Thanks for the help. So I'm guessing this is one of the many (italian look alike) glass ware that came out of asia?
What ever it is I like it and it's currently on a shelf next to my Agatha Christie books.

I think you've a piece of Japanese art glass from the 70s ish. Can't see the base well enough to be definitive.
