Help I/D silver wrapped glass

    hello was wondering if someone knows what the name of this item is I’m sure it’s some kind of perfume jar but not sure if it has a specific name for it I don’t see any makers mark but there is a flat spot on it that Probably had a mark on it at one time it test as sterling thanks for any info.     If it was a perfume, like Johnny said, it would have had to have a stand of some sorts.

    I think it make have been a stopper with either a cork or a plastic insert that would have gone into the bottle.

    How big is the opening?

    Thanks everyone for there thoughts. I have no idea if it’s for perfume or not was just something I threw out there .the little flat spot looked like there was something stamped on there at one time but has long been rubbed away anyways thanks again everyone. Matt
