Mid Century Di Paolo Glass Nut Dish?

    Anyone familiar with this Mid Century designer and am I reading it correctly? Di Paolo? I can't seem to find any info on google except for a comedian by that name and Di Paolo Silvestri. Tried to find info about Di Paolo Silvestri but didn't have much luck. Even checked out the 20th Century Glass website. I believe this may be a nut dish. Approximately 12" square with 4 "wells".     Those fused slumped pieces were popular during the 1960s and early 70s

    Thanks George. I kind of figured he was a Mid Century designer. Having a hard time finding any info on him. Probably not worth spending much time on it. Thanks for looking everyone.

    I'm going to take a WAG here and suggest that Di Paolo is a specific line within Silvestri. Silvestri is a giftware importer based in Massachusetts. I'm not sure an artist named Di Paolo ever existed. It would be unusual for him/her to have created pieces in both slumped glass and wood. Someone within Silvestri may have just thought it was a cool name for a line.
