Definitely has some age. How much age I couldn't guess. Maybe 50s? Is there a name for 3d paintings like this? 16x14 PXL_20221230_154553153.jpg PXL_20221230_154618167.jpg PXL_20221230_154600106.jpg

Mixed media. And I'd describe it as folk art. From frame, canvas, nails... Quite a bit older than the 1950s.

I'd definitely put "3D" in the title as well as what others mentioned.

edit: just found another term, "high relief", which may help other people find it.

19th Century Primitive ? Is the bird all carved wood or are the wings a different material, leather, etc.Maybe the artist also did decoys.A scrap of writing somewhere on the piece ?

There seems to be a tiny screw head peeking out of the back - is it holding the bird's body?

The bird is all carved wood. The wings and legs and beak were carved separately and attached later.

Yes the screw is holding the bird on I believe
