Anyone recognize this Urn? Any details?

    [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] I Found this at a garage sale and am hoping someone here can help me with details on it. I believe it is enamaled, there is a great deal of detail. Any thoughts?

    I would say it's Nippon. The mark on the bottom looks like Japanese characters, too. But I could be wrong.
    You can search Google images for Nippon vases.
    How big is it? Measurements are always helpful.

    Late 1800s to 1900.
    Nippon
    Looks like slip and not enamel paint.
    So I would call it Moriage.

    I'll look up moriage. I thought that was enamel. It is 15" tall and 7 " at the widest. Thanks for your input.

    I've been contradicted when I wanted to call slipware moriage. I've been told that moriage is restricted to that bisque, almost pastry-like applique.
