What 'kind' of glasses are these?

Made in Germany by Wiesenthalhutte for IDG (International Design Group); circa 1960s. Aperitif, shot glass, cordial, anything goes? I'm just looking for a descriptor. Has anyone come across these before? I found one reference on a German (I think) site but it was a larger size. These are about 2.5" tall (they are not identical heights) and 2.25" across the top rim. Thanks for your thoughts!

 

At that size, I would say an aperitif such as chilled vodka or Pernod

Right - I had forgotten "how" to drink Pernod since I gave it up personally and socially a while back as a political statement against Pernod Ricard's support of non-traditional bull fighting in France................

 

One of the few alcohols I dislike - can't abide aniseed! With you on the bull thing.
