Bronze Figural Egg Cup

measures 5 1/2" tall - the bird's egg will fit a jumbo size egg - I have looked a million times and can't find a hallmark - it is mega heavy and most certainly bronze and most certainly old - it's weird because I just can't seem to find ANY figural bronze egg cups of this quality on eBay or google or anywhere quite frankly... is it not an egg cup ??? appreciate any feedback...

 

How about a side view? If these are new pictures, I'm envious of the greenery, but it does make the picture seem a bit busy and confused.

 

Some other magical wonderment...but I don't see egg cup. Perhaps Master Salt?

Ever since i joined the Open Salt collectors of the world on Facebook , I keep seeing things as an open salt. You might run it by them. I have found a few bronze open salts. Yours is the right size and I can not think of what else it would be.

 

I didn't take a complete side view pic - but here is close to a side view...

I don't think it is an incomplete inkwell after viewing the pic provided - it doesn't have a well nor a lip to hold on a lid like the one in the picture - but it does look very similiar to austrian bergman wares.... master salt? maybe? the bowl just seems large - it can fit a jumbo egg in the cup... I will try to research in that direction... thanXies to all

 

btw - I live in fort lauderdale so yes my yard is a tropical floral oasis all year round - please don't be a hater LOL
