My grandmother had a round end table. Below the stationary top, there was a drum with several compartments. The drum could spin and each compartment had a little door on it so you could store things in the compartments. Does anyone know what this type of table is called and/or where I can get one? I remember it fondly and would love to have one in my home. Thanks.

Welcome, MimiK! You're already closer to the typical name than you know.

    Hi,
Drum table is what I called mine at the time. It had eight revolving drawers. People used to call it a "landlords" table.
Used to call it that since the drawers were used for each tenant to keep his'hers rent payment in. The things I used to hear not so much anymore.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
