Featured Old Marks? When are these from?

    When and where these from is the question. I don't know much about silver so when I saw these which I'm not sure where to go with, thought I'd post here and learn a little.

    Looks like a IVI then a crown. There the initialled of the owner also I assume

    I agree, the N looks like a 19th century Nürnberg mark. The shape of the box also has a German feel.

    It's a sugar box from Breslau, circa 1810, maker Johann Valentin Jentha (the 'N' is an assay/date letter):
