Unusual at least to me childs chairs

    I have two of these 33" tall chairs I was told they went to a childs dining set that the owner remembered using for easter. How old do you think these are and what type of wood are they?

    It "looks" like an neo classical mahogany hall chair to me. 1820s-30s. People were tiny then ! But Im no expert.

    Can you put them next to a modern chair for scale? It depends on the seat height, too

    The seat height is pretty close to the 60's chair it is next to if it was not for the cushion they would almost exact

    My mother had a ladies desk and the chair had a low back like this. That's why I asked about the seat height. It's normal height. Also, vanity tables had seats with low backs.
