I have an extension table that is 4’ round and extends to 12’ when fully opened. I only have one leaf for it but it’s a very interesting table, I’m just not sure if that translates to “valuable”. Wanting to try to find out something about it to help decide whether to keep it or not. We have been using as a game table. Just curious if anyone can point me to more information about it. I don’t see any distinct markings for brand of table. Thanks in advance!

Id guess Empire revival, circa 1870s-80s. Its in lovely shape, obviously well taken care of. Not hugely "valuable" at the moment, but a well made piece that will outlive us all.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

It looks to be nicely and sturdily made, and in VERY good condition!! If you're looking to keep and use for dining parties as well, you have a leaf, so you could have others made to match!! Something that nice, I wouldn't be selling!!!! I'm not good at judging many woods and sometimes ages, so will wait for others to chime in!!!
    WELCOME to ANTIQUERS, @Ama_joy!!!:):):)

Agree with a circa 1880 date. Wood is walnut. Not terribly valuable right now but that could change down the road.
