Chinese bowl

    With dragons. Blue glaze, size 35 cm diameter, high 15 cm.

    Hello, marialundin. You need to turn your pic of the marks 90 degrees to the right to see the characters correctly.

    I'm on a computer, and there is no way I am going to lift it up and turn it on its side.

    However, it looks like a Qianlong mark to me. But since this is definitely not Qianlong period but a rather recent lidded box, it is called an apocryphal mark.
    The Qianlong mark is the most copied of all imperial marks, as a tribute to an emperor who greatly supported the arts.

    A lot of us are using desktop computers - tough to turn that and painful on the neck. ;)

    From gotheborg.com (an excellent reference site for Chinese and Japanese marks on ceramics, it appears that the marks stand for Great Qing Qianlong period. However, this type of mark is used as an "honorific" and was not used during the actual Qianlong period.

    Late 20th century. No specific date included in the mark
