OLD WEATHERED CHINESE ALTAR!

    Hello folks,

    I have this old weathered Chinese altar that I am trying to date as well identify the type of wood and it's region. Would any of you have any insight into this piece? It is 78 1/2" long, 16 1/2" wide, and 34" high .

    Hard to say since these were made pretty much the same for decades. Lack of detail makes me think 20th century. Wood looks like some species of soft wood.... maybe camphorwood?
