    That was my first thought, but being European I thought I'd better keep my mouth shut before being tempted to put my foot in it. :muted:
    I am learning though. Not that I am particularly interested in 1970s bordellos....:eek:

    A magnet will not stick to pot metal either. Could be brass or bronze but more likely plated. If you do a fairly deep scratch test on the bottom of the base, pot metal will show silver. Brass will be gold and bronze more gold/brown.
