Featured Mid Century Bench...Manufacturer-Designer I.D.Help??

Any help appreciated...Its appx.6 feet long...Thank you.

 

My first thought was telephone bench,but Ive never seen one quite so long before. Maybe it was for a public venue. Im just guessing here,but I thought Danish.Possibly teak,but Brad is the wood guy. Its a great piece!

 

Despite length, does look like a telephone bench with storage space for directory. Unsolicited comment but -- as such a handsome piece -- think it might benefit from a more (what I remember as) period accurate cushion. Shorter and higher.

I thought the same...Maybe it was in a doctors or business office?

I think the cushion is accurate to the period,though it is thinner...Its the same wool material I have seen on most MCM furniture

 

Think probably walnut. Danish?

 

I'd say it was custom made........american, circa 1966.

 

Looks chaise-ey, going with a couple similar end tables of the time. Probably custom made alright. 1966....February 14, 1967...May 12, 1968.... I've seen American end tables that are a match stylistically.
