Those pipes are in many Barbour marks and have absolutely nothing to do with the item they appear on. Tobacco humidors are not normally metal inside - more likely wooden.

What's happening here? Am I hallucinating or what? Looks like random posts from another thread?

Nope you are not hallucinating. I had posted a different item before I knew how to start a new thread in the correct forum. Another kind member helped me learn the ropes so I deleted the "new" thread from my "Intro" thread and I place my new thread under the "Tool" forum. All is good!

    ...and VODKA lovers, too, perhaps?

(Just kidding, I'm afraid. I'm not much of a drinker - haven't tasted vodka since I was in my 20's...)

Me too. I gave it up as it is too fattening and I get bad headaches. Two strikes and your out:):)

Not here either...I have a duty free half gallon Smirnoff Black from the mid 80's unopened & an Absolut in the freezer from the early 90's.....
I think the stuff is vile........or at least ...I never had the taste for it !

Welcome! These silverplated 'Dutch Reproduction' pieces typically date from around the 1910s into the '30s - below are three similar tea caddies offered in a 1917 retailer's catalog (including one like the first shown by SBSVC).

And I like good vodka, even if I seldom drink anymore...

Thank you. This is so interesting to me. I am very thankful to have found this site:):) Yes, these days I prefer a nice bubble water to an adult beverage. The next day is always so much nicer:)
