Anything to these miniatures?

    This board & the internet have been lifesavers. Thank you! These may be touristy things, but at least I know these aren't student art projects.....1 to 1-1/2" tall.

    The little vase is Satsuma style.
    Can only see that it says Hand Painted. Can't read anything else. What does it say? or better yet a close up picture.

    The little man is most likely Japanese as well. Can't tell if it is newer resin or older Japanese celluloid. Which would make a difference in values.

    I realize that you are going through a family members items. Are you trying to get ideas to sell?
    Are you planning an estate sale, garage sale, flea market, or have your own space to sell in?

    I think the little vase is GOLDCASTLE, made in Japan, ca. 1950's-1960's.
