Vase .. what do the painted numbers mean?

    Hi everyone,

I've seen 2 vases that I quite like, however, I haven't a clue what the numbers mean under the base of one and also the stamp on the smaller one.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, as always.

    Many thanks in advance.

They can be pattern numbers, shape numbers or decorator marks.

The numbers are some factory code we will never know. The Chinese mark needs to be rotated counterclockwise until the stray marks are at the top. Then you might find it on gotheborg.com; click on Chinese marks on the left menu.
