    Hello all,

I wonder if anyone is able to shed a little light on a couple of items for me; they were inherited by my husband and we would love to know more about them (when were they made for example).

Any help or links to similar items would be so appreciated.

    Thank you very much!
    Aidan. :)

    Welcome!
Just FYI, you may want to edit your title to include what your items actually are so the right eyes click on your post and see your inquiry, ie: Help with chest of drawers and cabinet. (Go to Thread Tools, located above your post, and click on the little arrow.)
Next, close-up photos will be very helpful, especially of joinery (drawer sides, etc) and the backs of the pieces.
Where are you located? This is an international group so it's helpful to know what country you are in, and even what part of that country.
Also, this post would be better off in the Furniture category. Perhaps a moderator like @daveydempsey can move it there.
Hopefully, someone will be along who can help. :)

    Hi Bluumz,

Firstly apologies; the notification of your reply had gone in to my junk folder so I had not realised anyone had commented.

Will take some more details and make the changes you suggested to the title etc. thank you for the tips! :)

Pics not sufficient to tell much about your chest of drawers. Chippendale-esque but not period. Does seem to have some quality. Your glass front cabinet is probably teens-20s. Walnut finish but I can't tell if it is really walnut (have my doubts). I am thinking likely English in origin.

Those both look English to me.
