Glass Dish - Blue and Purple with Ribs - Italian?

Hello everyone - I've got this dish I'm hoping someone might recognize. It's a really pretty shade of blue with purple along the rim. Measures 8" at its widest and 1 1/2" tall. The bottom is nicely polished but a little off center. I thought it might be an ashtray but the indents don't really work that way. Any help regarding ID, time frame, etc. would be much appreciated! Thanks!
    Don

My guess would be Italian art glass.

Probably Murano. The Chinese don't polish the pontil mark very often.
