I'm looking for any information anyone might know about this egg's authenticity and/or value? It's about 12.5 inches tall. The markings at the bottom are the only markings on the whole egg. Each little dot on the egg is raised texture.

    Thank you!

The raised dot decoration is called Moriage. If you do en Ebay search for "Satsuma Moriage Egg" you will find several much like yours.

It's probably Chinese, since real Satsuma doesn't say Satsuma on the bottom in English.

Probably 1980s replica Satsuma from China.
